Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling (MPCC)
The MPCC designation represents an advanced level of professional competence and experience in counselling and psychotherapy. MPCC members have met enhanced standards for education, supervised clinical practice, and professional development beyond entry-level registration.
MPCCs have completed extensive theoretical training, practicum experience, and a substantial number of supervised clinical hours, demonstrating a high level of clinical skill, ethical practice, and professional judgment. This designation reflects readiness for independent practice with complex clinical presentations.
To maintain good standing with the CPCA, MPCC members are required to adhere to the CPCA Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice and to submit proof of professional liability insurance annually.
